Fun with our baby sitters

Ops! I think there on backwards

The other day buddy had his pants on backwards I think it was too adorable, and funny at the same time so I thought I would share the laugh with you. Well, I've got more posts coming but all the boys, mom, and dad are at the pond and its hot so I think I am going to go swimming. :)

At this time last year, I was in a hospital room with my buggy.
At this time last year I was sad because I had to come home
and go to a meeting with my Dad.
At this time last year My buggy was laying in a bed
full of drugs with acid (chemo) running into his body.
At this time last year, I had some thing I don't have today.
At this time last year I fought for my brothers life,
It is not easy to watch your brother do that and
we dreamed for the day he would be cancer free,
But how I wish for those days of fighting for him
even when all he would do is cry from the pain
and pass out in a second because he hurt so bad.
How I wish we had him back to love to hold.
Had I knew he was going to go to heaven how many thing would I had done different.
I was thinking the other day, you know what?
I don't think most of the time we realize what we have until its gone.
I washed the car yesterday and I thought
what would I have given to have Silas well
and have been able to do that last year.
But I would not trade any thing for what I did last year for my brother.
I have to say I really am grateful that I stayed with him in the hospital all those months.
But I have to say God made those months good months when he got doing very well
and like I've heard off some kids who never even got to come out of the hospital after they got diagnosed,
they lived the next 6 month in a hospital.
God is good and even though we don't understand
what he does sometimes or why
I know it all ends up the in the better end for us.
Well, there are some things that we did last year
that made it special one.
It may sound silly to you, but it's special to me.
Last year while he was in surgery to biopsy the tumor,
I ate lunch with Bro.Buddy & Mrs.Chris at Wendy's.
So, Friday, the seventh, my mom, Mrs.Chris,
and I ate Wendy's for lunch
when Buggy would have been in surgery one year ago.
There is going to be the saying "At this time last year" a lot this year ..........

Bro. Jason Kendrick

Bro. Jason is a outstanding preacher, he loves God and the work of God. Well, anyway he owns a tent and lets pastors use it for there meetings. I meet him many years ago and he just preached right down my alley. I haven't seen them in five years, then we walk into church and there he and his family were, sitting there. It was very good to see them. Bro.Buddy let him preach tonight. He preached on being still and letting God speak to you. It was very good preaching. Grace and I have been good friend also. The video at the bottom is of Grace singing and Bro.Kendrick playing the guitar.On that note of the tent business he has a big truck that caries is and a platform, chairs,sound system and light to light the tent at night,Well the tag runs out this September and he has to get it renuded if he wants to keep using the tent if you would like to donate money to get this tag it would really help him. Buggys Birthday

Well, Buggy's birthday was Wednesday. After he passed I had a very hard time with the fact that he wasn't going to be here for his birthday. I told him so many times that on his 3rd birthday that we would have a big birthday for him and I would work so hard to have him a cancer free birthday.But when he was gone that wasn't possible. I had a very hard time with the fact that I had lied to him so I asked God to give me some comfort. So, God gave me this answer: ''he is having a cancer free birthday. Its not on earth, but he's having a much better birthday and you did not lie to him!'' The fact is that he had a much better birthday than he could have here because he couldn't have sugar. I could just imagine God giving him a big chocolate cake with Hershey's shavings on it and a mountain of sugar! Now that's my imagination, but I'm going to ask him when I see him again.
