Well I have 2 more posts after this post.
The pictures below are of Cameron and I, we go to church together,
play volleyball together, and hang out.
Cameron will be moving soon, and her birthday was last month,here is a few pictures of us together.
Well the one picture is of Hunter and I , but I threw it in there, cause I love my brothers.
And my puppy that is not of a picture of Cameron, Hunter, or I.
Panzer will be starting basic dog training classes, next week and will continue for 6 weeks,
hopefully he will be a more obedient dog when it's done.Well got to run!

Weekend with Friends

Last weekend we went to Alabama, so my dad could preach, we had a lot of fun, and I took a bunch of pictures. We went to Ft.Ruckers Army Aviation Museum. I took a couple of pictures while we were waiting for our food at Taco Bell. I love the fact (not) that its called fast food, but it takes 30-45 minutes to get your order of food.

You know we don't care or love somebody in life cause there perfect, never aggravate us,
cause us problems,or sometimes outright just be a pain.
We love people in life so we can help each other, and do what God put us on this earth for.
God put us on this earth to love, encourage, help, be a blessing, and sometimes sacrifice for others.
I'm so glad that my parents have not always done what they wanted to.
I'm glad they have loved, encouraged, helped, and sacrificed for me.
And that is what I try to do even though most of the time I let little thing aggravate me,
and my attitude gets in the way...I really do try.

New year around the corner

Well the new year is about 8 hours away and I am very excited! New year, new goals, and new beginnings. But to finish out the year...I bought 2 new pair of shoes, deep cleaned the house, and got a phone call from a good friend I had not talked to in a while it totally made my night. Well whatever y'all are going to do to bring in the new year have fun and lots of it. I'm going to snack on party food with my family and my puppy stay up all night and I won't fall asleep in church tomorrow ( I'll probably have to have help from some coffee) and of course make plenty of noise with fireworks at midnight. Well have a Happy New Year EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW it's been a long time since I have updated. A lot has happened.Growing up! finding what you want to do in life! I've played another whole season of volleyball.Well its December again I love and hate this time of year.(Yes I understand "hate" is a strong word) I love the trees, Christmas music,decorations,sweet potato casserole,the shopping environment, and a lot more stuff I don't have time to mention. I also hate this time of year for certain reasons I don't care to mention. I feel so much for Mrs.Morris and her family. Christmas is a hard time for them too.( If anybody truly wants a role model who has been through a hard time go to www.weloveyoujoel.blogspot.com Go to the very first post on her blog and read up to this present day you will cry your heart out). Well lets block out the hard ships of our lives and just concentrate on the beautiful lights,wonderful music tunes,cute movies, and whatever else makes the season more wonderful for you. I am still alive if any of you were wondering! I want to thank the many people in my life that don't give up on me no matter how many times I mess up. I miss you big brother so much. Clay and Lydia I wish you the best and hope you have the most amazing time together as you start your life as a couple.Ellis and April hope y'all have a good first Christmas together. For everyone else I didn't mention I hope the best for all of you too.Thanksgiving week was nice this year my dad's parents came down and my cousin got married. Well IDK if there is any pictures to upload if so I'll upload them. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!

Well it's been a while since I updated. I've tried to get time to update but other things have a bigger priority. I have added a new member to the Blackburn clan ( no not a baby ). A dog and he is mine, yes I love the though of having a companion. We already enjoy going for a 2 miles run/jog/walk in the mornings. I can say in the summer it's hot. Every day when I get done with my run I am soaked with sweat. And poor Panzer (that's my dogs name) comes in the house, gets a drink, and throws himself down on the floor. Well, I have been having a bunch of summer fun going to the beach and playing ball outside with the little kids. We got to see our friends the Unger's we haven't seen in over a year. I went to camp, it has been a busy summer and it is not even barely started. Well, I will put some pictures below from the fourth and of my new puppy. Okay a little info about my puppy, his name is Panzer and no I did not name him he already had that name when I got him. He is 6 months old, he loves to play fetch with a tennis ball, Oh and he loves the beach we took him yesterday and he ran me till I was out of breath. I went up and sat on the sand and he just sat there looking at me like come in lets go play.

SMITE stands for Summer Missionary Institute of Training and Evangelism. It is a one week camp where you are taught how to effectively run a 5 day club. You go to a community and knock on doors inviting kids to come to club. Then, Monday through Friday, you hold an 1 hour club somewhere in the community. Whether its on the playground or under a big shaded tree. Everyday we tell them a Bible story and a missionary story (this year the missionary story was Mary Slessor). The kids that come sing songs, learn a bible verse, and win prizes for bringing friends or being still during the Bible and missionary stories.We did bible clubs every day from 2pm till 3pm. We had about 4-9 children come every day. About 4 or 5 said they trusted Christ as their Savior. For us teens that went to camp our mornings started at 6am and ended at 11:30pm or midnight. We had to be up by 6am do our personal devotions, get dressed for the day, and clean our dorm by 7:00. Breakfast started at 6:45am we had till 7:45am to meet at the church. So, during that hour for breakfast we normally studied for our tests while we ate. Then from 7:45am till 8:00am we had preaching. Then it was off to class. We had 3 classes with a few minutes break between each class to run to the concession stand which was 2 building away. So from 8:00am-12:45 we had 3 classes and a one hour demo of what we would be doing at our bible club that afternoon. Then we had lunch from 12:45 till 1:15pm. At 1:15pm all girl meet in the church and the boys meet in the lunch room. We were on a team which consisted of 2 or 3 girls and then a leader and a counselor. All boys and girls are separate except for meals and church and your so busy there is no time to get into trouble. So from 1:15pm - 2:00pm you study the bible story, missionary story and verse you will be teaching the children in your club that day. Then from 2 pm till 3pm you have time to drive to the location of your bible club get set up. Then at 3pm the children show up and you hold a club from 3pm till 4pm. Then we have till 5:30pm to get back to the camp, get a shower if needed, and get ready for church. At 5:30pm dinner is served till 6:30pm. At 6:30 groups start singing which means find a seat church is fixing to start. Then from 6:30pm till about 8:30 we sing, have preaching, and then have a 5 minute break at 8:35 we meet back in the church to sing and have another preacher. Church normally gets done at 10:30pm or 11:00pm. Then we have 30 minutes to an hour depending on how much time Uncle Jerry thinks we need to get ready for bed and study or if we want to visit with the preachers. We are back up at 6am bright and early the next morning. Below are some picture of the week I really enjoyed my week at smite. I went with my oldest brother and some other teens from my church. Friend- a person you know well and regard with affection and trust. I am so tired of people who say I'm your friend and you have no clue how there doing you cant get ahold of them.And I'm not talking about the fact that they missed 2 of your text and didn't see them till hours later and you haven't talked to them in a few days.Friend these days means were cool right this second, but when you don't do something they like, they run around taking about you. I don't like her or him there my enemy. Now you may not say it but you sure do act it. When you say I will be your friend it should be that you will always be there for them. It doesn't matter if they do something you don't like or agree with. When you said, "we're friends" you took the oath of I will always be there for you no matter what.You would give them the clothes off your back,or your last dollar. You said I'll be there as soon as possible if you need me. Nothing should come between that friendship that you have not a relationship,or another friend. The Bible says there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. A friend is somebody who rebukes you when you have done wrong, someone you can share your deepest dreams and wishes with. When I tell somebody we're friends, nothing can come between us, not if I move 800 miles away or to a different continent. If you need me, I will be the best help I can. I will be there for you. Even if you do things that I don't like or disagree with or the way your living your life. Even if I disagree with the people you hang around, no matter what I will be there for you. So if I say I'm your friend you can expect all of the above from me.
I am very sorry I haven't been faithful to update my blog, or if I haven't returned your emails or letters right away. I promise it is going to stop.And always count your blessing and be thankful for what you have. So before I go make sure if you say, "I'll be your friend" you live up to it.

I know I haven't posted in a long time and I'm sorry.It is because I have been busy and because I am lazy and don't take the few minutes to update.Okay I'm going to quit rambling now! =) The reason there are airplane pictures below is because for my birthday for the first time ever I got to fly on an airplane.My Dad flew me to Texas to visit some friends I met about a year ago.I had lots of fun shopping, playing with the dog, watching movies, sleeping in, goofing off, and just about anything fun you can imagine.There are no pictures of Kate or her sister we were having too much fun and forgot to get 1 picture but I did manage to get a picture with the dog as I was leaving.And now I want to fly again cause I had so much fun.Well, I could sit here and tell you everything I did, but I need to go do some stuff. Saturday is the day I get all that little stuff that gets on your nerves done and the boys are outside playing and I need to keep an eye on them.

Well I'm updating cause Halle said I need to so here it comes. :) If you asked what I have been up to lately I would say: School and lots of it but when I get the diploma in my hand all the work will be worth it. Cleaning the house is also what I've been up to boys get the house very dirty. Sewing and Shopping I have grown out of almost all my clothes so I have been busy on the showing machine but, I LOVE the shopping part! And guess what my dad loves me cause he bought me a pair of the new rezig tennis shoes. If you wondered why it looked so bright outside today it was cause I was smiling extra big. Carpet cleaning is also on the list I cleaned my parents bedroom carpet for 5 hours the other day lets just say I slept good that night. And my all time March favorite the air show :) we normally go to Tyndall Air Force Base for the air show but, this year we went to Kesler Air Force Base. My favorite is the Blue Angels, they're so awesome! I have also been getting some of this spring sun a little to much maybe, I got burnt pretty bad last week, we went to the beach then to the air show. My friend, Tory, she was outside 2 full days and she got sun burnt really bad thankfully we both look normal again. lol Well I am officially 16 now my brothers kept teasing me that I was not 16 till 6:18 pm last Sunday,Then we went out for dinner and my dad stands up and says to the whole restaurant '' Can I please have you attention today is my daughters 16th birthday would you please help me sing happy birthday to her'' and of course the WHOLE restaurant had to help sing .Thanks to bro.McDaris who gave my dad the idea..ugh..never put 2 guys together you never know what they will end up doing. I will put some pictures of everything I got and the cute little cards my brothers gave me. I better run go check my e-mail before it's time to get the boys dressed they have a Patch and Peewee performance tonight and I have choir practice. Did y'all hear lol is officially in the dictionary? I say. lol

We had a fun time this past weekend. We're all growing up so fast I'm almost 16, Josiah is 13, and it will not be long before a family vacation will be only memories. My parents have always given me and my brothers the best for our life and done what they thought was best. I'm excited about growing up but a little scared. When I was little I thought growing up was so awesome. I would have more privileges, do big people things, I could just live life. But I was a little kid with big dreams. Life has bumps and bruises, I'm not saying growing up is horrible, but I wish I would have enjoyed being little longer. So to you little ones out there love being little, enjoy being under momma and dad's wings. It's nice to have my parents here with me but when I lay my pillow on my head I can only think that I'm graduating in 2 years, getting bigger, and how I will move on. I can remember being little jumping in bed covering up and being asleep in 10 minutes. Now I lay awake thinking about hopes, dreams, and what the future holds.

What else do you need in life than living, loving, and laughing?

With it being November and all it makes me think of last year. I try not to think about it but still there is something missing...my brother. Its nice to have friends to help you through everything. Everybody knows the saying, action speaks louder than words. You find out who your real friends are when the storms come. I only had a few "real" friends during that time last year. Just because I know somebody and we are "cool" with each other does not mean they are a true friend.
I remember last year when my brother died the next day my parents had to go to town and do a bunch of stuff, I can honestly say I didn't know what to do. Sometimes kids say" I don't know what to do", but what they mean is my life is boring. My parents dropped us off with our neighbors but all I wanted to do was get out of the house. I remember going outside and just walking in circles and I thought I will go see what Lydia is doing. I just sat there with Lydia, we didn't really talk or anything but it was peaceful. To this day Lydia will email me and say "are you really OK, I want to know how you are doing, I care," and I know she means it. Thank you Lydia, I love you. You are a "real" friend.

I think of Mrs. Monessa, how I could be up missing my brother and could not sleep at 3:00 AM, and I would text you and you would text me back. Thank you, you are a "real" friend.

Then there's Cali and Alex! Thank you Cali, for all the times you listened to me, let me tell you how I felt and you cried with me you would hug me and cheer me up. Thank you, you and your family are "real" friends. And thank you Alex too, you helped me and my mom this past year a lot, you've been a great guy friend. You checked on us all the time, and made us laugh. You helped fill the days that seemed so empty. Thank you you are a "real" friend.
I have had a lot of changes this past year and some of them were hard. I do not know why every thing that has happened, but I know one day I will know. Until then most days are hard and I want to totally forget what happened...but I know I can't.

Well sorry it's been a few weeks but school has started and it is a bigger priority than blogging is.So I will only be updating on weekends unless it's a holiday.Well let me tell you a little of what is happening in my life! One of the reasons I did not update the week before school started was because we were moving into our trailer and I had lost my camera but I found it in the box with our wii.School is going good so far I cannot wait for the Fall weather to come around.Football season has kicked off yeehaw for all of us football fans I can't wait to see how the broncos are going to do with Tim Tebow this year! I think I am getting a bug or something I fill under the weather but vitamin C will take care of that, my new project is within the next few weeks to scrapbook all of the pictures I have printed off. And my new hobby is watching the cars go down the highway it's so peace full they just glide by it really lets your brain rest Well there is plenty more I could write but I don't want to bore you with my life but I did want to update you on how I was.

Here is a picture of me for ALL you people who keep telling me That I never put any pictures of me on here. Very serious and I have to wear the sunglasses because superheros never let there Identity been known. No, they're not my sunglasses, they're my brothers. Has anyone noticed that I have a sense of humour!!!!!!! Well here it goes again me and my camera! I love to play around and try new shots, well I don't have to many things to try it out with so my brothers get to be the guinea pigs. And they let me hear, it they said I'm always putting pictures on my blog of them standing this way or that way! So I told them before I took more pictures of them standing this way or that way. I would put some of them dirty and playing around out side. Well some of them did not turn out as good as I wanted them to so I will probably have a second post within the next month or so.

I tried picking up a five hundred pound horse couldn't do it,
so I retreated to my brother, a few less pounds I guess!!!!

I had the bear tackled for long enough to take the picture, see how much bigger his paws are than mine well think... how big his body must have been but then again I do this kind of stuff every day so don't sweat.

At this time last year, I was in a hospital room with my buggy.
At this time last year I was sad because I had to come home
and go to a meeting with my Dad.
At this time last year My buggy was laying in a bed
full of drugs with acid (chemo) running into his body.
At this time last year, I had some thing I don't have today.
At this time last year I fought for my brothers life,
It is not easy to watch your brother do that and
we dreamed for the day he would be cancer free,
But how I wish for those days of fighting for him
even when all he would do is cry from the pain
and pass out in a second because he hurt so bad.
How I wish we had him back to love to hold.
Had I knew he was going to go to heaven how many thing would I had done different.
I was thinking the other day, you know what?
I don't think most of the time we realize what we have until its gone.
I washed the car yesterday and I thought
what would I have given to have Silas well
and have been able to do that last year.
But I would not trade any thing for what I did last year for my brother.
I have to say I really am grateful that I stayed with him in the hospital all those months.
But I have to say God made those months good months when he got doing very well
and like I've heard off some kids who never even got to come out of the hospital after they got diagnosed,
they lived the next 6 month in a hospital.
God is good and even though we don't understand
what he does sometimes or why
I know it all ends up the in the better end for us.
Well, there are some things that we did last year
that made it special one.
It may sound silly to you, but it's special to me.
Last year while he was in surgery to biopsy the tumor,
I ate lunch with Bro.Buddy & Mrs.Chris at Wendy's.
So, Friday, the seventh, my mom, Mrs.Chris,
and I ate Wendy's for lunch
when Buggy would have been in surgery one year ago.
There is going to be the saying "At this time last year" a lot this year ..........

Bro. Jason is a outstanding preacher, he loves God and the work of God. Well, anyway he owns a tent and lets pastors use it for there meetings. I meet him many years ago and he just preached right down my alley. I haven't seen them in five years, then we walk into church and there he and his family were, sitting there. It was very good to see them. Bro.Buddy let him preach tonight. He preached on being still and letting God speak to you. It was very good preaching. Grace and I have been good friend also. The video at the bottom is of Grace singing and Bro.Kendrick playing the guitar.On that note of the tent business he has a big truck that caries is and a platform, chairs,sound system and light to light the tent at night,Well the tag runs out this September and he has to get it renuded if he wants to keep using the tent if you would like to donate money to get this tag it would really help him. Buggys Birthday

Well, Buggy's birthday was Wednesday. After he passed I had a very hard time with the fact that he wasn't going to be here for his birthday. I told him so many times that on his 3rd birthday that we would have a big birthday for him and I would work so hard to have him a cancer free birthday.But when he was gone that wasn't possible. I had a very hard time with the fact that I had lied to him so I asked God to give me some comfort. So, God gave me this answer: ''he is having a cancer free birthday. Its not on earth, but he's having a much better birthday and you did not lie to him!'' The fact is that he had a much better birthday than he could have here because he couldn't have sugar. I could just imagine God giving him a big chocolate cake with Hershey's shavings on it and a mountain of sugar! Now that's my imagination, but I'm going to ask him when I see him again.

Gabe is a little boy in are church, he has taken a liking to me. Since I love little kids, we play and have a good time together.He is so cute and very sweet too. Just look at those eyes and eyelids !!!!!!! At church we're having a contest men/boys vs ladies/girls for offering. Since I have 6 brothers, then Gabe comes up and they ask for my change, well I have to say I've helped the boys out a little. When you have 6 brothers, little boys have a special place in your heart!

(YES YES YES!!!!!!) Daddy & Levi are now at the airport in Africa they left at 10:30 P.M. our time, and 5:30 A.M. their time. PLEASE pray that they have a safe trip home and all of their luggage is with them & nobody gets in it and steals anything! It is going to take them two and a half days to get home.

I was listening to the song Mary Did You Know. Well, we know what the song is talking about and I now have a totally different out look. Here is my out look.
1.'' Mary did you know that your baby boy has walked were angels trod''. Well, Silas is walking as we speak where angels trod.
2.''Mary did you know that your baby boy will save our sons and daughters". Silas has met my Saviour, getting jealous, are you?
3."He will give sight to a blind man, he will calm a storm with his hands". Silas has met those blind men God made whole.
4."When you kiss your little baby, you have kissed the face of God".
Hebrews13:2b says ''Some have entertained angels unawares.'' Maybe, just maybe, we entertained an angel (Silas) for two and a half years. Maybe we were kissing the face of an angel. He was precious.
5.''The blind will see, the deaf will hear and the dead will live again". Silas has seen the dead that God rose from the dead, he has also seen the deaf man.

because I miss him so much.Buddy had his 4th birthday on the 11th.

Why the Name

I was trying to think of a name for my blog, but could not come up with a name I liked. It was late and I went to bed, before I fell asleep I asked God to help me find a name. I woke up singing "In Christ Alone", and I thought, "okay maybe that is the name God wants me to use". I kept doing my chores, and picked up a CD case to put away, and the words In Christ Alone stuck out. I said, okay God, I know what you want me to name my blog. That is how God showed me what to name my blog.
In Christ Alone means more to me now, than it has ever before. Through these last few months, with everything that has gone on with Silas, I realized that it is "In Christ Alone" that I need to be every day. I knew that already, but having to deal with the things I have has made me depend on Christ Alone more and more.
